Epicyclic Trains Apparatus

The Epicyclic Trains Apparatus is used to investigate an epicyclic gear train with a variety of ratos and configurations. The apparatus is equally suitable for student experiments or demonstrations.
The bench mounted apparatus consists of an epicyclic arm which is mounted on a base.
The parts enable simple, compound and compound reverted gear trains to be evaluated on the Epicyclic Trains apparatus.
A set of five gears with necessary shafts, spacers, fasteners and Allen key are supplied in a fitted storage box.
One tooth on each gear is marked and a pointer is fitted to assist with counting wheel rotations.
