Laboratory Falcon Concentrator

The Falcon L40 enhanced gravity concentrator has a bowl diameter of 4” and is specifically designed for laboratory test-work on small ore samples. Applications include the concentration and upgrading of gold, platinum group metals, mineral sands, chromite, tin, tantalum, tungsten, iron ore, cobalt as well as many other metals and minerals with sufficient differences in specific gravity. It is used for the simulation of industrial scale Falcon high-G gold centrifuge models: Ultra-Fine (UF), Semi-Batch (SB), Continuous (C). The applicable model and operating parameters are dependent on sample specific features, such as the particle size and desired mass yield.
A fabricated adjustable L40 steel stand and 50 liter agitated stainless steel tank are optional additions. The machine is of stainless steel construction and a two stage UHMW polyethylene bowl. The materials of construction have been carefully selected to minimize the possibility for contamination between samples. The rugged functional design of this unit means that it is perfect for use at an exploration site or mineral processing laboratory.
