Injection Administration Exam VR Nursing Simulation
A scored examination in which the learner receives a prescription and a patient case, selects the correct route, equipment and site, and performs the injection without guidance. Every action is timed and compared to the institution's checklist.
Learning objectives
By the end of this experience the learner can:
- Select the correct route and equipment from the prescription alone.
- Perform the injection unaided with correct technique and asepsis.
- Manage sharps and documentation without prompts.
- Achieve the pass mark on the automated checklist.

Procedure steps
- Read the case and prescription.
- Prepare the medication and equipment.
- Select the site, perform the injection and dispose of the sharp.
- Complete the medication administration record.
- Review the scored report with the instructor.
Assessment
The exam produces a percentage score, a pass/fail decision and an itemised error list exportable to the LMS.
Equipment and setting
Standalone VR headset with hand controllers, full-scale virtual patient and equipment, instructor screen mirroring, Arabic and English interface, offline operation on the campus network.
