ASDroneSim Drone Flight Simulator

A drone simulator built on real drones and real places. Four drones fly with their real weight, motors, propellers and battery, over Paris and New York rebuilt at real scale from satellite data, and through race courses at a night stadium, a big city and a construction site.

What is inside

Fly real drones over real cities

For FPV pilots, drone schools and anyone who wants to learn to fly before risking real hardware.

Real flight physics

Each drone flies with its real weight, motors, propellers and battery, so a racer and a heavy-lifter feel completely different. Heavy drones carry real momentum, and clipping a building means a real collision.

Real cities at real scale

Paris and New York built from satellite data and calibrated against real landmarks: the Eiffel Tower at 330 m and One World Trade Center at its real height.

Race courses and gates

A sightseeing course from real GPS coordinates in Paris, a Broadway-to-Brooklyn Bridge course in New York, and gate loops in the big city, the stadium and the construction site.

FPV with live OSD

Fly through the drone's camera with battery voltage, current, throttle, speed, flight mode, lap timer and race progress on screen, or switch to a chase view.

Your radio, your rates

Plug in a real RC transmitter over USB and calibrate it on a 3D model of the radio. Tune Betaflight-style RC rate, super rate and expo per axis with a live curve.

VR as FPV goggles

Connect a Meta Quest over Link or Air Link and the feed appears on a curved goggle screen with lens distortion and vignetting, like real FPV goggles.

The drones

Four real drones, four different feels

Pick a drone in the rotating showcase, compare its Agility, Acceleration and Stability ratings, and press FLY.

DJI Mavic 3
Cine quad: a camera drone that is easy to fly
EMAX Nighthawk 200
Race quad: a light, fast FPV racer of about 500 g
DJI Matrice 300 RTK
Enterprise: an industrial drone whose sound follows its real motor speed and blade count
DJI Matrice 400
Heavy lift: 9.7 kg, with turns that have to be planned well ahead
Environments

Five places to fly

Choose an environment from the console-style home screen.

Paris
Ten by five and a half kilometres of central Paris: the Seine, the Champ de Mars and a course from the Eiffel Tower to Place de la Concorde and back past Les Invalides
New York
Lower Manhattan to Midtown and the Brooklyn waterfront, with a course from Bowling Green up Broadway, past Wall Street and the Seaport, and over the Brooklyn Bridge
Big City
A dense modern district of high-rise blocks, courtyards and a ring road, with a ten-gate loop between the towers
Night Stadium
A floodlit football stadium with an inflatable arch-gate slalom down both halves of the pitch
Construction Site
Tower cranes, half-built concrete frames, container stacks and an excavation pit, with eight gates threaded through the structures

FAQ

Common questions

Pilots who want to learn or practise flying before risking a real drone, FPV racers, drone schools and training centres, and anyone curious about how different drones handle.

The DJI Mavic 3, the EMAX Nighthawk 200 racer, the DJI Matrice 300 RTK and the DJI Matrice 400. Each one flies with its real weight, motors, propellers and battery.

Yes. Plug a real RC transmitter in over USB, calibrate the sticks on the 3D model of the radio and assign the channels. Rates, super rates and expo can be tuned per axis.

Yes. A Meta Quest connected over Link or Air Link works as FPV goggles, with a curved screen, lens distortion and vignetting.
