Ventilation VR Nursing Simulation
Pressure-controlled and volume-controlled modes and the weaning process on a ventilated virtual patient.
Nurses in critical care must understand what the ventilator is doing to the patient and why the alarms sound. This module presents a ventilated virtual patient with a realistic monitor: learners set and interpret pressure and volume modes, respond to alarms, perform suctioning and take the patient through a weaning trial.
