Injection Guide VR Nursing Simulation
A guided experience that introduces the virtual medication room, syringe and needle sizes, the seven rights of medication administration, drawing up from vials and ampoules, and safe sharps handling. Every step is narrated and highlighted before the learner performs it.
Learning objectives
By the end of this experience the learner can:
- Select the correct syringe and needle for each route and patient.
- Draw up medication from a vial and an ampoule without contamination.
- Apply the seven rights before every administration.
- Handle and dispose of sharps safely.

Procedure steps
- Check the prescription against the patient's identity and allergies.
- Select equipment and prepare the medication aseptically.
- Choose the route and site indicated by the medication and the patient.
- Perform the injection with the correct angle and technique.
- Dispose of the sharp immediately and document the administration.
Assessment
The guide is formative: mistakes are corrected on the spot and can be repeated until the learner is ready for the technique scenarios.
Equipment and setting
Standalone VR headset with hand controllers, full-scale virtual patient and equipment, instructor screen mirroring, Arabic and English interface, offline operation on the campus network.
