VR Mental Health Simulation Training

Cat Phobia VR Simulation Training

The cat phobia VR simulation gives users a safe and interactive way to practice gradual exposure to cats while staying supported, calm, and in control.

Fear of cats may appear from a distance or when a cat moves unexpectedly. This VR program presents calm, non-threatening cat encounters so users can work through fear gradually without real-world pressure.

The graded exposure combines breathing and mindfulness with progressively closer interactions, including seeing a cat from a distance, hearing purring, approaching gently, and simulating touch. Confidence can replace avoidance as each stage becomes easier.
