Arab World Solar Kids Digital Twin

An educational program for children aged 6 to 12 that shows how homes across 22 Arab countries and 84 cities get their electricity from solar panels, batteries and wind turbines — by day and by night. A teacher panel that grades itself

With a school license the program adds a private panel where the teacher sees every student's answers, scores and hardest questions — with no server, no accounts and no internet.

Students pick their name

A "Who are you?" screen appears before the quiz; names can be filtered by class or searched.

PIN-protected panel

The teacher sets a 4–8 digit PIN. Students can never open the panel or see another student's results.

Results & hardest questions

Every attempt with its score, stars and duration — plus the questions most often answered wrongly.

Download & install

Run GulfSolarKids-Setup.exe, choose English or Arabic and keep the default folder. No administrator rights are needed — the program installs for the current Windows user.

Activate your license

Send us the machine ID shown on the activation screen. We send back a key or a .lic file — paste it once and the program never asks again.

Questions parents & teachers ask

What age is the program for?

It is designed for children aged 6 to 12. Younger children follow the animated neighbourhood and the spoken lessons easily because the guide reads everything aloud; older children get more out of the "Be the energy engineer" challenge and the quiz.

Is the trial really free?

Yes. The 14-day trial starts the first time you open the program, needs no license key and no payment details, and gives you part of the program to evaluate. When you activate a license nothing you did during the trial is lost.

What is the difference between Monthly and Annual?

Both unlock exactly the same program. Only the term differs: a Monthly license is renewed each month and an Annual license each year — when either ends the program shows "Subscription ended" and you paste a new key. Your license details are always visible under Settings.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. The program works fully offline, including the recorded voices of Jack and Nasouh. Internet is only needed to download the installer and to fetch automatic updates, which the program checks for at start-up and every four hours.

Windows warns me when I download or run the installer. Is it safe?

That is a generic notice Windows and browsers show for any new file without a widely recognised publisher signature — it does not mean the file is dangerous. In Edge choose Keep, in Chrome Keep, and if the blue "Windows protected your PC" window appears click More info then Run anyway. Sections 1 and 2 of the user guide show every step. If you are unsure, send us a screenshot first.

Can a school use it on several computers?

Yes. The school license adds the teacher panel, and a computer lab can point every machine at one shared network folder so that all students' results arrive in the same panel. Where there is no network, results can be exported to a USB stick and imported on the teacher's computer. Tell us how many computers you have and we will prepare an offer.

Does it work on Mac, tablets or phones?

Not at the moment. Arab World Solar Kids Digital Twin is a 64-bit Windows program for Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Can I move my license to another computer?

Yes — contact us and we will issue a key for the new machine ID. On the old computer use Settings → Remove license first.
